Security
Lock In System for Picture Frames
For
commercial, retail and industrial exhibits where theft can
be a problem, the Security System is very effective.
Ingeniously
simple, the Security Lock-in System attaches the frame to
the wall rather than hanging the frame from the wall, making
removal extremely difficult without the Security Frame Wrench.
Step
1
Metal
Frames
Mark
frame position on wall and attach the two brackets to
wall with special expansion type fasteners. (Fasteners
can be used in either solid or hollow-core walls.) Position
frame evenly over the wall brackets with the upper extended
part of the bracket sealed in the frame's mounting channel.

Step
2

|
Now
lightly mark the wall at the center of the bottom of the
frame, remove the frame and place it aside. Measure up
from your mark 1/2 the outside dimensions of the mounting
channel to position the Tee-Screw. Attach the Tee-Screw
to the wall, tightening clockwise down to the wall. Unscrew
the Tee-Screw counter-clockwise from the wail enough to
be rotated (with the Security Wrench) inside the mounting
channel and leave the Tee head in a horizontal position. |
| Step
3
Once
again place the frame over the mounting brackets (as
in Step 1) and now the Tee-Screw (All Security Lock-in
hardware should now be properly in position within the
frame's mounting channel.) Using the Security Frame
Wrench, tighten the Tee-Screw one-quarter turn (vertical)
inside the mounting channel. |

Wood
Frames
Slotted
plates are available to simulate the metal frame's mounting
channel. Simply screw them to the back of the frame
and proceed with steps 1-2-3. |
